Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Federal Software Program Manager to direct large-scale, enterprise software deployments for federal government and public safety clients. This remote role includes up to 50% travel across North America, with preference for Eastern/Central locations.

You will govern programs end-to-end, manage P&L, lead cross-functional teams, ensure federal compliance, and drive proposal-driven growth with strategic partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or Business Administration.
• 8+ years of software project or program management experience delivering complex, large-scale software solutions.
• PMP in process or completed strongly preferred; advanced program management or Agile certifications are a plus.
• Working knowledge of federal business, federal contracting practices or willingness to learn.
• Demonstrated success in proposal development, effort estimation, and win strategies for large federal procurements.
• Proficiency in enterprise PM platforms (Jira Align, Microsoft Project, Confluence, Asana) for large-scale telemetry and portfolio reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develops, manages, and implements the master project plan using automated project management tools, processes, and procedures.
• Defines and measures performance related to achieving specific goals.
• Leads a multidisciplinary project team to achieve successful project completion.
• Acquires and maintains understanding of internal workflows and practices.
• Organizes meetings and provides regular status updates to customers, subcontractors, and internal staff.
