Job summary
Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Federal Software Program Manager to direct large-scale, enterprise software deployments for federal government and public safety clients. This fully remote role entails end-to-end governance, P&L accountability, cross-functional team leadership, federal compliance, and customer satisfaction.
The position allows up to 50% travel to customer sites across North America, with a preference for candidates in Eastern/Central locations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or Business Administration.
- 8+ years of software project or program management experience delivering complex, large-scale software solutions.
- Experience leading federal government software contracts is strongly preferred; equivalent large-scale enterprise experience in Public Safety, Telecommunications, SaaS, or regulated industries will be considered.
- PMP in process or completed strongly preferred; advanced program management or Agile certifications are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develops and directs master project plans for large-scale software deployments.
- Leads a multidisciplinary project team and ensures alignment with customer goals.
- Serves as primary contact for customers, subcontractors, and internal staff; maintains regular status updates.
