Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Federal Software Program Manager to direct large-scale software deployments for federal government and public safety clients. You will own governance, P&L, cross-functional leadership and ensure compliance, delivering mission-critical software solutions in a fully remote role with travel to North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or Business Administration.
• 8+ years of software project or program management delivering complex, large-scale software solutions.
• Strong preference for federal government software contracts; equivalent large-scale enterprise experience in public safety/regulated industries considered.
• PMP in process or completed preferred; advanced program management or Agile certifications are a plus.
• Knowledge of federal contracting practices or willingness to learn.
• Proven success contributing to proposal development, effort estimation, and win strategies for large federal procurements.
• Proficiency in enterprise PM platforms (Jira Align, Microsoft Project, Confluence, Asana) for telemetry and portfolio reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develops, manages, and implements the master project plan with automated tools and processes.
• Defines and measures performance to meet specific goals.
• Leads a multidisciplinary project team to successful completion.
• Serves as the primary contact for customers, subcontractors, and internal staff.
• Manages project budgets, revenue, margins, and cash; analyzes costs and tracks status.
• Provides ongoing risk assessments and escalation plans; communicates status and issues to stakeholders.
