Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Federal Software Program Manager to direct large-scale, enterprise deployments for federal gov't and public safety clients. This fully remote role carries up to 50% travel across North America, focusing on governance, P&L, and cross-functional leadership.

Preferred candidates have 8+ years in software project or program management, federal contracting experience, PMP or advanced PM certifications, and strong proposal and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, IT, Management, or Technology required.
• 8+ years of software project or program management experience delivering complex, large-scale software solutions.
• Experience leading federal government software contracts strongly preferred; public safety, telecommunications, SaaS, or regulated industries also considered.
• PMP in process or completed strongly preferred; Agile certifications are a plus.
• Working knowledge of federal contracting practices or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Direct large-scale, enterprise software deployments and complex technology initiatives for federal government and public safety clients.
• Maintain end-to-end accountability for program governance, financial performance (P&L), and client satisfaction.
• Lead cross-functional teams and strategic proposals to deliver mission-critical software solutions.
• Manage stakeholder communications, meetings, and progress updates.
• Oversee budgeting, cost status reviews, and change management per contracts.
