Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a Senior Federal Software Program Manager to direct large-scale software deployments for federal government and public safety clients. This remote role carries end-to-end governance, P&L, and cross-functional leadership with up to 50% travel to customer sites across North America.

Preferred candidates have 8+ years in software program management, strong federal contracting know-how, and PMP or equivalent certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years PM experience in engineering or IT environments.
• 8+ years of software project/program management delivering large-scale solutions.
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain Security Clearance as required.
• PMP in process or completed; PgMP/SAFe SPC/ART credentials valued.
• Federal contracting, proposal development, and win strategy experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops and governs the master project plan using PM tools and processes.
• Defines performance metrics and tracks progress toward goals.
• Leads cross-functional teams to deliver complex software programs.
• Manages project budgets, revenue, margin, and cash objectives.
• Assesses risks and drives escalation and mitigation plans.
