Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Federal Software Program Manager to direct large-scale, enterprise deployments for federal government and public safety clients. This remote role carries up to 50% travel across North America, with preference for Eastern/Central locations.

The role requires 8+ years in software project/program management, strong knowledge of federal contracting, and PMP or equivalent certifications. Expect leadership across governance, budgets, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software project or program management experience delivering complex, large-scale software solutions.
• Experience leading federal government software contracts strongly preferred; equivalent large-scale enterprise experience in regulated industries considered.
• Certifications: PMP in process or completed strongly preferred; Advanced PM/Agile certs are a plus.
• Working knowledge of federal contracting practices or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Develops, manages, and governs large-scale projects using formal methodologies.
• Leads multidisciplinary project teams and tracks progress against plans.
• Serves as primary contact for customers, subcontractors, and internal staff; facilitates meetings and status updates.
• Manages project budgets, revenue, margins, and change management per contracts.
• Assesses risks and escalates issues with mitigation plans.
