Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a Senior Federal Software Program Manager to direct large-scale enterprise deployments for federal government and public safety clients. This fully remote role carries end-to-end governance, P&L, and cross-functional leadership across North America.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of software project/program management experience, federal contracting knowledge, and PMP or equivalent credentials. Up to 50% travel; Eastern/Central US preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or Business Administration.
• 8+ years of software project/program management delivering large-scale software solutions.
• Experience leading federal government software contracts strongly preferred.
• PMP in process or completed preferred; advanced PM/Agile certs are a plus.
• Federal contracting knowledge or willingness to learn.
• Proposal development, effort estimation, and win strategies experience.
• Experience using enterprise PM tools (Jira Align, MS Project, Confluence, Asana).

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages the master project plan using automated tools.
• Defines and measures performance to achieve goals.
• Uses best-practice project management methodologies for effectiveness.
• Ensures standards and processes are followed on projects.
• Leads a multidisciplinary project team to success.
• Maintains understanding of internal workflows and practices.
• Leads status reviews with team members.
• Serves as the primary contact for customers, subcontractors, and internal staff.
• Maintains contact with customers and channel partners.
• Provides regular status updates and organizes meetings to meet milestones.
