Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a seasoned security researcher to analyze in-the-wild exploits, contribute to adversary tracking, and develop automation and signatures for large‑scale threat hunting. You will work with the TAC team to document exploitation techniques and produce actionable intelligence for internal and external audiences.

Remote position with potential travel, requiring strong writing skills, collaboration, and a deep understanding of exploit analysis and reverse engineering.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in exploitation techniques for userspace and kernel vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of common network service exploitation techniques.
• Solid understanding of at least two OS platforms, including Windows.
• Familiarity with web-based exploitation vectors.
• Excellent writing skills mandatory.
• Experience with reverse engineering tools and processes.

Responsibilities

• Implement tracking systems for cross-team adversary tracking based on exploitation behavior.
• Maintain capabilities for detecting exploits and malicious payloads.
• Develop signatures for large-scale hunting, detection, and prevention of exploits.
• Produce threat intelligence reporting for various audiences.
