Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Security Researcher to join the Intelligence team, focusing on analyzing in-the-wild exploits and documenting vulnerability techniques. The role centers on defensive research within the TAC, informing mitigations and protection strategies.

The ideal candidate combines reverse engineering expertise with Python scripting, strong writing skills, and the ability to communicate complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences. Remote work with travel可能.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in exploitation techniques commonly seen in userspace and kernel exploits.
• Knowledge of common network service exploitation techniques.
• Solid understanding of Windows and other OS platforms.
• Familiarity with web-based exploitation vectors.
• Strong reverse engineering skills and experience with disassemblers, debuggers, and decompilers.
• Ability to leverage Python for tooling and automation.
• Experience with AI-assisted tooling and large language models to speed vulnerability research.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement tracking systems for adversary activity and exploit behavior.
• Improve detection capabilities for exploits and malicious payloads.
• Develop classification schemes for intrusion activity based on exploit traits.
• Create host and network signatures for large-scale threat hunting.
• Produce high-quality threat intelligence reports with actionable guidance.
• Collaborate across teams to inform mitigation strategies and products.
• Brief customers and stakeholders on complex technical results.
