Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Security Researcher to join the Intelligence team in a remote role. You will research in-the-wild exploits, reverse engineer payloads, and develop automated analysis tools to support adversary tracking and exploit mitigation.

The role requires strong writing, collaboration across teams, and the ability to brief customers. You will work on signature development, threat intelligence reporting, and deploying host- and network-based detections.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in exploitation techniques seen in userspace and kernel exploits.
• Knowledge of common network service exploitation techniques.
• Solid understanding of Windows and one more OS platform.
• Strong reverse engineering skills with tools and processes.
• Proficient in Python and scripting for research tasks.

Responsibilities

• Implement tracking systems for adversary tracking based on exploitation behavior.
• Develop signatures for detection and prevention of exploits.
• Produce actionable threat intelligence reports for diverse audiences.
