Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a security researcher to analyze exploits in-the-wild, support adversary tracking, and build automated tooling for exploit analysis. The role focuses on defensive analysis, reverse engineering, and publishing actionable threat intelligence.

Ideal candidates will have strong Python skills, experience with disassembly, and a proven ability to communicate complex findings clearly. Remote work with occasional travel is supported, with competitive compensation and growth

Qualifications

• Proficiency in exploitation techniques seen in userspace/kernel exploits.
• Knowledge of common network service exploitation techniques.
• Solid understanding of Windows and other OS platforms.
• Familiarity with web-based exploitation vectors.
• Strong writing skills and ability to explain complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop tracking systems to inform adversary tracking from observed exploits.
• Maintain capabilities to detect exploits and malicious payloads.
• Create classification framework for intrusion activity based on vulnerabilities.
• Develop host-based and network-based signatures for large-scale hunting.
• Produce high-quality threat intelligence reports with mitigation guidance.
