Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a skilled security researcher to analyze exploits observed in the wild and document techniques used by adversaries. This defender-facing role focuses on reverse engineering, automation, and tooling to uncover actionable indicators.

Your work includes producing threat intelligence reports, briefing stakeholders, and collaborating across teams to improve detection, mitigation, and product capabilities.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in exploitation techniques used in userspace and kernel exploits.
• Knowledge of common network service exploitation techniques.
• Solid understanding of Windows and other OS platforms.
• Familiarity with web-based exploitation vectors.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities.
• Expertise with reverse engineering tools and processes.
• Proficient in Python and AI-assisted tooling for research.
• Excellent writing skills and ability to present complex ideas clearly.

Responsibilities

• Track adversary activity and intrusions across campaigns and exploits.
• Develop tracking systems and improve exploit detection capabilities.
• Create classification frameworks for intrusion attribution.
• Develop host/network signatures for large-scale hunting and prevention.
• Produce high-quality threat intelligence reports and briefings.
