Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a highly skilled security researcher to analyze in-the-wild exploits and contribute to adversary tracking through reverse engineering and automation. You will produce intelligence products and collaborate with the Intelligence team to mitigate vulnerabilities and improve detections.

The role emphasizes accurate technical writing, use of AI-assisted tools, and cross-team coordination while operating remotely with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in exploitation techniques used in userspace and kernel vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of common network service exploitation techniques.
• Solid understanding of Windows and other OS platforms.
• Familiarity with web-based exploitation vectors.
• Strong writing skills are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Track exploitation behavior to support adversary tracking efforts.
• Develop and extend tools for automated exploit analysis.
• Create classification framework for intrusion activity based on vulnerabilities used.
• Produce high-quality threat intelligence reports with actionable guidance.
• Brief stakeholders and collaborate across teams on exploitation activity.
