Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a highly skilled security researcher to analyze in-the-wild exploits, track vulnerability trends, and develop comprehensive threat intelligence. The role emphasizes debugging, reverse engineering, and automated tooling in a remote setting with travel as needed.

You will contribute to adversary tracking, publish actionable mitigation strategies, and collaborate with intelligence teams to broaden coverage of the global threat landscape. Excellent writing is required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in exploitation techniques used in userspace and kernel exploits.
• Knowledge of common network service exploitation techniques.
• Solid understanding of Windows and other OS platforms.
• Familiarity with web-based exploitation vectors.
• Strong collaboration and written communication skills.
• Experience with reverse engineering tools and malware unpacking.
• Ability to use AI-assisted tools to accelerate research and validate findings.
• Excellent writing skills are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Build tracking systems for cross-team adversary tracking based on exploit behavior.
• Enhance detection of exploits and malicious payloads using data sources.
• Develop signatures for large-scale hunting, detection and prevention.
• Create a classification framework for intrusion activity based on vulnerabilities.
• Produce high-quality threat intelligence reports with actionable guidance.
• Brief stakeholders and customers on complex analyses as needed.
