Job summary

SOLV Energy is looking for an Engineer 3 to act as a Subject Matter Expert in value engineering and quality assurance across utility-scale projects. The role can be fully remote or based in Edison, NJ.

The ideal candidate will have experience in engineering for renewable energy and utilities, with a focus on large-scale infrastructure projects. This position offers comprehensive benefits including medical and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of progressive engineering experience in EPC, renewable energy, utilities, or large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Solar focus preferred).
• Engineer‑in‑Training (F.E.) is required.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical Subject Matter Expert on value engineering, QA/QC, and technical judgment.
• Manage Owner, Owner’s Engineer, and Independent Engineer submittals.
• Support permitting efforts by coordinating with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).
