Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Engineer 3 who will serve as a technical Subject Matter Expert, focusing on value engineering and QA/QC across utility-scale EPC projects. This position can be fully remote or based in Edison, NJ.

The ideal candidate has 4–7 years of experience in engineering within the EPC or renewable energy sectors, preferably with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage, 401(k) enrollment, and competitive salary.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of progressive engineering experience in EPC, renewable energy, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Solar focus preferred).
• Engineer-in-Training (F.E.).

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical Subject Matter Expert for utility-scale EPC projects.
• Review technical RFP documents and provide input to the estimating team.
• Manage Owner, Owner’s Engineer, and Independent Engineer submittals.
