Job summary

SOLV Energy is looking for an experienced Engineer 3 to serve as a technical Subject Matter Expert across utility-scale EPC projects. This role, which can be fully remote or based in Edison, NJ, includes responsibilities like QA/QC, technical judgment, and multi-discipline coordination.

The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of engineering experience, preferably in renewable energy or large-scale infrastructure projects. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and participation in the company’s 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4–7 years of EPC-related engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Solar focus preferred.
• Engineer-In-Training certification (F.E.) is required.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical Subject Matter Expert for utility-scale EPC projects.
• Provide QA/QC oversight for engineering and permitting deliverables.
• Coordinate with Authorities Having Jurisdiction for permitting.

Skills

4–7 years of progressive engineering experience in EPC, renewable energy, utilities

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Solar preferred)

Proficiency in AutoCAD

Working knowledge of Primavera P6

Strong organizational skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Clear communication skills
