Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Engineer 3 to serve as a technical Subject Matter Expert, with responsibilities in value engineering, QA/QC, and coordination across utility-scale projects. The position can be fully remote or based in Edison, NJ.

Ideal candidates will have 4–7 years of engineering experience in EPC or renewable energy, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, and proficiency in AutoCAD. We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of progressive engineering experience in EPC or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in parallel.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical Subject Matter Expert focused on value engineering.
• Coordinate with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) for permitting efforts.
• Identify gaps in existing engineering process and develop process updates.
