Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Engineer 3 to act as a technical Subject Matter Expert focused on value engineering and QA/QC across utility‑scale projects. This position can be fully remote or located in Edison, NJ.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant engineering degree, proficiency in AutoCAD, and 4–7 years of experience in EPC or renewable energy projects. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Successful candidates will have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Candidates must be self‑motivated with a strong sense of accountability.
• Ability to travel up to 20% to project sites or partner offices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure coordination of design deliverables prepared by internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage Owner and Contractor submittals effectively.
• Support permitting efforts by coordinating with Authorities Having Jurisdiction.

Skills

4–7 years of progressive engineering experience in EPC, renewable energy, utilities, or large‑scale infrastructure projects

Proficiency in AutoCAD

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Clear written and verbal communication skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Solar focus preferred)
