Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an experienced Engineer 3 to act as a technical Subject Matter Expert focusing on value engineering, QA/QC, and independent technical judgment across utility-scale EPC projects. The position may be fully remote or based in our Edison, NJ office.

The ideal candidate will have 4–7 years of engineering experience, preferably in EPC or renewable energy environments. Responsibilities include reviewing RFP documents and coordinating design deliverables. The role offers competitive benefits and a compensation range of $112,656 – $135,188.

Qualifications

• Experience with large scale infrastructure projects
• Self‑motivated with a strong sense of accountability
• Ability to travel up to 20% to project sites

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical Subject Matter Expert focused on various engineering aspects.
• Coordinate with internal engineering teams and external consultants.

Skills

4–7 years of progressive engineering experience in EPC, renewable energy, utilities, or large‑scale infrastructure projects

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Solar focus preferred)

Engineer‑in‑Training (F.E.)

Proficiency in AutoCAD

Working knowledge of Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Clear written and verbal communication skills
