Job summary

SOLV Energy is looking for an Engineer 3 to serve as a Subject Matter Expert in value engineering and QA/QC across utility-scale EPC projects. The position allows for full remote work or office-based in Edison, NJ.

This role entails managing design coordination, overseeing engineering deliverables, and interacting with clients and authorities. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s in Engineering and 4-7 years in renewable energy or large-scale infrastructure projects. Benefits include comprehensive insurance, 401(k), and vacation pay.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of progressive engineering experience in EPC, renewable energy, utilities, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Ability to adapt and respond quickly in a fast-paced EPC environment.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical Subject Matter Expert focused on value engineering, QA/QC.
• Coordinate design deliverables prepared by stakeholders.
• Manage Owner, Owner’s Engineer, and Independent Engineer submittals.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Solar preferred)
