Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Engineer 3 to serve as a Subject Matter Expert focused on value engineering and technical oversight for utility-scale projects. This role can be fully remote or based in Edison, NJ.

The ideal candidate will have 4–7 years of engineering experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, and strong skills in project management and communication. SOLV Energy offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of progressive engineering experience in EPC, renewable energy, utilities, or large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Engineer-in-Training (F.E.) certification preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 20% to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering and permitting deliverable schedules.
• Review consultant deliverables for project alignment.
• Coordinate with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).
• Support permitting efforts and QA/QC oversight.
