Job summary

LaunchDarkly is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to act as a trusted technical advisor to our Enterprise prospects and customers. You will own pre-sales discovery, design scalable architectures, and deliver tailored demos and proposals to executive and technical stakeholders.

The role demands deep cloud and DevOps knowledge, strong communication, and a customer-centric approach. Occasional travel for industry events and customer engagements is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a solutions engineering or equivalent role.
• Experience with SDLC, cloud architecture or DevOps.
• Expertise with at least one cloud platform (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud).

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery, architecture design, and PoC during pre-sales lifecycle.
• Partner with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to craft technical value propositions.
• Deliver high-impact demos, workshops, and proposals to C-level and technical stakeholders.
• Build trust with customers and identify technical champions to position as strategic advisor.
• Liaise with Product/Engineering to relay feedback and influence roadmap.
