Job summary

Darktrace in the United States seeks a Senior Solutions Engineer to act as a trusted technical advisor to Enterprise prospects and customers, partnering with sales teams and partners throughout the customer lifecycle.

You will lead technical discovery, solution design, demonstrations, and executive presentations, shaping strategy and guiding POV engagements to deliver measurable security outcomes across on-prem and cloud deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking, cloud platforms, and modern security architectures.
• Proven ability to engage technical and executive stakeholders, including C-level audiences.
• Experience working with channel partners, resellers, and alliance organizations.
• Demonstrated success supporting complex enterprise sales cycles and driving technical wins.
• 5+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
• Experience in cybersecurity, AI, cloud security, networking, or related technology fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery, solution design, demonstrations, and executive-level presentations.
• Drive technical strategy and influence deal progression to maximize customer value.
• Scope, lead, and guide POV engagements with clear success criteria.
• Support complex deployments across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with Account Executives, Customer Success, and Professional Services.
• Deliver technical responses to RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires.
• Leverage MEDDPICC to qualify opportunities and align solutions to priorities.
• Travel as needed to support customers, partners, and events.
