Job summary

Rocket Software is seeking a Senior Account Executive for Vertica to own revenue growth in the US. You will manage territory strategy, build executive relationships, and drive end-to-end enterprise sales cycles for data analytics and AI-driven initiatives.

You will lead cross-functional deal teams, partner with Pre-Sales, and compete in a dynamic analytics ecosystem, including Snowflake and Databricks, while maintaining a strong forecast and pipeline discipline.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of enterprise software sales with quota.
• Experience closing complex multi-stakeholder deals in enterprise environments.
• Experience selling to Global 1000 organizations with revenue accountability.
• Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM tools and strong forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver against revenue targets for an assigned territory/strategic accounts.
• Develop and execute territory/account strategies to drive pipeline and revenue growth.
• Lead end-to-end enterprise sales cycles from early shaping to close.
• Build and maintain relationships with C-suite and senior stakeholders.
• Act as trusted advisor translating Vertica capabilities into business value.
• Collaborate with Pre-Sales Engineers on evaluations and PoCs.
• Drive competitive sales strategies against Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, Teradata.
• Lead cross-functional deal teams with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success.
• Leverage partner and channel relationships to accelerate pipeline.
