Job summary

Rocket Software is seeking a Senior Account Executive for Vertica product sales in a remote US-based role. You will own revenue growth in a defined territory, drive pipeline, and lead end-to-end enterprise sales cycles with senior stakeholders.

You will articulate business value from Vertica’s analytics capabilities, collaborate with Pre-Sales, and navigate competitive landscapes against Snowflake, Databricks, and Redshift. Expect field travel up to 50% and a dynamic, high‑growth environment.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of enterprise software sales experience with quota attainment.
• Experience selling into large enterprises/Global 1000 with revenue responsibility.
• Proven ability to engage and influence C‑level executives and senior data leaders.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver revenue targets for assigned territory or strategic accounts.
• Develop and execute territory and account strategies to drive pipeline and revenue growth.
• Lead end-to-end enterprise sales cycles from opportunity shaping through close.
• Build and maintain relationships with C-suite and senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Pre-Sales to lead technical evaluations and proof-of-concepts.
