Job summary

UpGuard is building a new Professional Services function and seeks a Day 1 hire to write the playbook. You will lead complex enterprise deployments, design SOPs, and collaborate with leadership to scale the global PS team.

You will partner with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to translate client needs into technical solutions, while establishing SOPs and standard methodologies for consistent delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a B2B SaaS implementation, solutions architecture, or professional services role.
• Experience consulting with large-scale organizations (5,000+ employees) is preferred.
• PSA tools experience and ability to read API docs and design data mappings.
• Ability to guide customers toward best practices and manage executive stakeholders.
• Proven ability to drive adoption and standardization via defined KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Foundational Practice Building: design and document repeatable methodologies, project plans, and SOPs.
• Enterprise Delivery & Scope Management: own deployments end-to-end and prevent scope creep; lead UAT.
• Technical Integration & Platform Expertise: develop deep expertise and troubleshoot integrations (REST APIs, webhooks, third-party systems).
• Process Re-Engineering & Translation: translate client needs into actionable specs and redesign workflows.
• Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Leadership: align IT/SecOps and executives; connect PS, Sales, and Product.
