Job summary

Zendesk is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to drive net-new business across a fully flexible remote landscape in the United States. You will prospect, qualify and close high-impact deals, translating customer priorities into compelling Zendesk AI-enabled value propositions.

Role requires proven history in complex B2B SaaS sales, executive engagement and disciplined deal execution. The compensation reflects a strong OTE with base/commission and potential incentives.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of related experience in complex B2B SaaS new-business selling.
• Experience with value-based discovery and commercial deal ownership.
• Evidence of prospecting discipline and quota attainment.
• Experience engaging executive stakeholders and multi-threaded buying committees.
• Ability to discuss AI, automation and platform value credibly.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a qualified net-new pipeline to meet/exceed quota.
• Lead a prospecting-to-close process: discovery, qualification, value mapping, planning, negotiation, close.
• Translate customer priorities into Zendesk platform and AI value propositions.
• Build alignment across business, technology, security, finance, procurement and buyers.
• Own commercial strategy, deal progression within guardrails, ensure value delivery credibility.
• Coordinate across Solution Engineers, Product Specialists, Marketing and partners to improve win rate.
• Maintain CRM data, pipeline health and forecast discipline with risk visibility.
• Document goals, stakeholders and success conditions for smooth handoff.
