Job summary

Zendesk is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to drive new business in a fully flexible remote setup across US locations. You will prospect, qualify, and close durable net-new deals, translating client needs into AI-enabled CX value propositions and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes executive selling, deal negotiation, and building multi-threaded engagement with decision makers across business, technology, security, and procurement.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of related experience in complex B2B SaaS new-business selling.
• Proven capability in value-based discovery and commercial deal ownership.
• Evidence of quota attainment, executive engagement and multi-threaded deal judgment.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain qualified net-new pipeline to meet quota through targeted outbound, inbound conversion, partner routes and territory planning.
• Lead a repeatable prospecting-to-close process: discovery, qualification, value mapping, business-case development, negotiation and close.
• Translate customer priorities into Zendesk platform and AI value propositions for executives.
• Build alignment across business, technology, security, finance, procurement and buying committees.
• Own commercial strategy, deal progression, and negotiation within guardrails; protect customer value and credibility.
• Coordinate with Solution Engineers, Product Specialists, Marketing, SDR/BDR partners and leadership to improve win probability.
• Maintain CRM data, pipeline health, forecast discipline and early risk visibility; base decisions on evidence.
• Document goals, stakeholders, use cases, commitments and success conditions for a clean handoff; report market and buyer insight.
