Job summary

Zendesk is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to drive new business remotely across the US. You’ll prospect, qualify, and close net-new deals, translating AI-enabled CX value into executive-level ROI for large organizations.

You’ll collaborate with product, marketing, and partners to build strategic opportunity plans, manage complex negotiations, and ensure a smooth handoff to post-sale teams. This role offers a strong base plus commission.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of related experience in complex B2B SaaS sales.
• Proven capability in complex B2B SaaS new-business selling and value-based discovery.
• Evidence of quota attainment and executive engagement.
• Ability to discuss AI, automation, and platform value credibly.
• No credential required if demonstrated experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a strong net-new pipeline to meet/exceed quota.
• Lead a prospecting-to-close process: discovery, qualification, value mapping, and negotiation.
• Translate customer priorities into Zendesk platform and AI value propositions.
• Build alignment across business, technology, security, finance, procurement and buying committees.
• Own commercial strategy, deal progression, and negotiation within guardrails.
• Coordinate with solution engineers, product specialists, marketing, and partners to improve win probability.
• Maintain CRM data, pipeline health, and forecast discipline with clear risk signals.
• Document goals, stakeholders, use cases, and commitments for a clean handoff.
