Cribl seeks a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a remote-first, cross-functional SDET team ensuring quality across all Cribl products. This hands-on leadership role emphasizes building quality into the SDLC, designing testing strategies from design to release, and driving data-driven prioritization for the roadmap.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in software, 4+ years in technical leadership, and deep expertise in test architecture, automation, CI/CD, and observability.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in establishing testing strategy and defining quality metrics for SaaS/managed environments.
• Thorough understanding of the SDLC and changes required for agentic development.
• Strong understanding of test architecture, automation, CI/CD, observability, release management, and root‑cause analysis.
• Experience with AI-developed tests and workflows.
• BS CS/EE or equivalent practical experience with 10+ years in industry, including 4+ years in technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality strategy across Cribl products and communicate data-driven metrics.
• Lead continuous improvement in test automation, CI stability, defect prevention, and root-cause analysis.
• Continuously optimize end-to-end pipelines for quality and velocity, removing bottlenecks.
• Foster a customer-first mindset by addressing testing gaps in deployments.
• Establish partnerships with product management and engineering to ensure early quality standards.
• Coach and grow a remote-first team of test engineers focusing on agentic workflows.
