Cribl is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a remote-first SDET team responsible for the quality and reliability of all Cribl products. This hands-on leadership role drives testing strategy from design to release with agentic workflows.

You will partner with product management and engineering, coach a distributed team, and advance quality metrics, CI/CD, and observability while delivering high-quality software to customers.

Qualifications

• BS CS/EE or equivalent practical experience with 10+ years in industry.
• 4+ years in a technical leadership role.
• Experience establishing testing strategy and quality metrics.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality strategy across Cribl products and communicate metrics for data-driven prioritization of the team's roadmap.
• Lead continuous improvement in test automation, CI stability, defect prevention, root-cause analysis, and escape-rate reduction.
• Continuously optimize end to end pipelines for both quality and velocity, removing bottlenecks for both people and agentic workflows.
• Foster a "customer first" mindset by continuously running failure analysis to close the testing gap with customer deployments.
• Establish a strong partnership with product management and engineering managers to ensure quality standards are implemented from the start.
• Coach, mentor, and grow a remote-first team of exceptional test engineers focusing on agentic workflows
