Job summary

Cribl is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a remote-first, cross-functional team of SDETs responsible for quality and reliability of Cribl products. This hands-on leadership role emphasizes quality built into the SDLC, with test strategy from design to release and agentic workflows.

You will drive engineering excellence, deliver high-quality software, and mentor a distributed team across locations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience establishing testing strategy and quality metrics.
• Proven ability to lead testing for SaaS and customer-managed deployments.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and agentic development practices.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality strategy across Cribl products and communicate metrics.
• Lead continuous improvement in test automation, CI stability, and defect prevention.
• Optimize end-to-end pipelines for quality and velocity; remove bottlenecks.
• Foster a customer-first mindset and close testing gaps with deployments.
• Partner with product management and engineering managers to enforce standards.
• Coach and grow a remote-first team of test engineers.
