Job summary

Cribl is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a remote-first, cross-functional SDET team responsible for the quality and reliability of Cribl products. This hands-on leadership role emphasizes building quality into the SDLC, designing test strategy from design through release with agentic workflows.

You will drive end-to-end quality, coach a distributed team, and partner with product and engineering leaders to raise standards.

Qualifications

• BS CS/EE or equivalent with 10+ years industry experience.
• At least 4+ years in a technical leadership role.
• Hands-on testing strategy and quality metrics experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality strategy across Cribl products and communicate metrics for data-driven prioritization of the roadmap.
• Lead continuous improvement in test automation, CI stability, defect prevention, root-cause analysis, and escape-rate reduction.
• Continuously optimize end-to-end pipelines for both quality and velocity, removing bottlenecks for people and agentic workflows.
• Foster a customer-first mindset by running failure analysis to close testing gaps with deployments.
• Establish partnerships with product management and engineering managers to ensure quality standards from the start.
• Coach, mentor, and grow a remote-first team of exceptional test engineers.
