Cribl, a remote-first SAAS data observability company, seeks a Senior Engineering Manager to lead SDETs, ensuring quality from design to release. You will drive testing strategy, metrics, and automation across Cribl products, leading a remote team of engineers and collaborating with product and engineering managers.

You have 10+ years in software with 4+ years in leadership, strong CI/CD, observability, and AI-enabled testing experience; ready to advance engineering excellence and customer

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industry experience, including 4+ years in a technical leadership role.
• Hands-on experience in establishing testing strategy and defining quality metrics.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, agentic development, test architecture and automation.
• Experience with AI-developed tests and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality strategy across Cribl products and communicate metrics.
• Lead continuous improvement in test automation, CI stability, and defect prevention.
• Optimize end-to-end pipelines for quality and velocity.
• Coach, mentor, and grow a remote-first team of test engineers.
• Partner with product and engineering to embed quality from design.
