Job summary

Cribl is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a remote-first, cross-functional team of SDETs ensuring quality and reliability across products. This hands-on leadership role drives testing strategy, quality metrics, and agentic workflows from design to release.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in the industry, with 4+ years in technical leadership, and a strong background in SDLC, test architecture, CI/CD, and AI-driven testing.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industry experience with 4+ years in a technical leadership role.
• Hands-on experience in testing strategy and quality metrics for SaaS products.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and agentic development.

Responsibilities

• Own quality strategy across Cribl products and communicate metrics for data-driven prioritization of the team's roadmap.
• Lead continuous improvement in test automation, CI stability, defect prevention, root-cause analysis, and escape-rate reduction.
• Continuously optimize end to end pipelines for both quality and velocity, removing bottlenecks for both people and agentic workflows.
• Foster a "customer first" mindset by continuously running failure analysis to close the testing gap with customer deployments.
• Establish a strong partnership with product management and engineering managers to ensure quality standards are implemented from the start.
• Coach, mentor, and grow a remote-first team of exceptional test engineers focusing on agentic workflows.
