Job summary

Cribl, a remote-first leader in data observability, seeks a Senior Engineering Manager to guide SDETs and own quality across products. You will drive test strategy, automation, and CI/CD practices while ensuring reliability for customers and deployments in SaaS and customer-managed environments.

Lead a remote team, collaborate with PM and Eng managers, and foster a customer-first quality culture; on-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience establishing testing strategy and quality metrics for SaaS and customer-managed deployments.
• Deep understanding of the SDLC and agentic development principles.
• Strong knowledge of test architecture, automation, CI/CD, observability, release management, and RCA.
• 10+ years in industry with 4+ years in a technical leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Own quality strategy across Cribl products and track data-driven roadmap metrics.
• Lead test automation and CI stability improvements.
• Optimize end-to-end pipelines for quality and velocity.
• Coach and grow remote-first test engineers.
• Partner with product management and engineering managers to embed quality early.
• Handle on-call duties as needed.
