Cribl, a remote-first B2B SAAS data observability company, is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead SDETs and own quality across products. You will implement testing strategy from design to release, drive automation, and ensure high reliability for customers.

You will guide a remote team, collaborate with product and engineering managers, and ensure quality is built into the SDLC from the start, including agentic workflows and AI-related tests.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience establishing testing strategy and defining quality metrics.
• Thorough understanding of SDLC and agentic development in SaaS environments.
• Experience with AI-developed tests and workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality strategy across Cribl products and communicate metrics for data-driven prioritization of the team's roadmap.
• Lead continuous improvement in test automation, CI stability, defect prevention, root‑cause analysis, and escape‑rate reduction.
• Continuously optimize end-to-end pipelines for both quality and velocity, removing bottlenecks for both people and agentic workflows.
• Foster a customer-first mindset by running failure analyses to close the testing gap with deployments.
• Establish a strong partnership with product management and engineering managers to embed quality from start.
• Coach, mentor, and grow a remote-first team of exceptional test engineers.
