Job summary

Remote is seeking a Senior Lifecycle Specialist, Employee Relations & Transitions to independently manage all employee exits for Remote's external employees with a focus on legal compliance and delivering excellent service.

As part of the Lifecycle team, you will drive process improvements, guide clients through terminations, resignations, transfers, and ensure privacy, data integrity, and cross-border compliance while collaborating asynchronously with an international team.

Qualifications

• Experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner with generalist HR competencies.
• Tertiary qualifications in HR or employment law are a plus.
• Proven track record in managing complex employee exits with legal compliance.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations principles and investigations.
• Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end employee exits across multiple international jurisdictions.
• Provide guidance on terminations, resignations, transfers, and redundancy.
• Lead client meetings and negotiations in separations.
• Coordinate stakeholders to ensure compliance with payroll, legal, and unions.
• Draft termination documents and maintain confidential records.
• Operate offboarding in the HRIS platform and mentor junior staff.
• Offer guidance on Remote's Employee Relations resources.
• Assess workplace concerns and advise on next steps.
• Support a global, asynchronous work environment.
