Job summary

The Standard is seeking a Senior Director of Implementation in voluntary claims and operations to own the value stream for complex implementations. You will partner with peers across voluntary, customer service, underwriting, benefits, sales and service to drive delivery of customer value and high performance.

Develop and maintain tools and service delivery models for new products, while providing executive presence and effective negotiation to navigate escalations and secure favourable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 8+ years of client management experience and 2+ years of leader of leaders experience required.
• Voluntary benefits industry certifications, project management, lean management and change management preferred.
• Experience turning data into actionable business improvement with measures/metrics.
• Strong understanding of revenue drivers, profitability, client retention, contract economics, and cost to serve.
• Ability to balance client advocacy with enterprise financial objectives and identify opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Serve as value stream owner of complex implementation in voluntary claims and operations.
• Partner with peers in voluntary, customer service, underwriting, benefits, sales and service to deliver value for customers.
• Influence evolution of service delivery and marketplace offerings and ensure high-performance value streams.
• Develop and maintain tools and service delivery models for new products across EB lines of business.
• Demonstrate executive presence, negotiation and communication to resolve high-stakes client situations.
