Job summary

Alignment Health is seeking a Sr. Director, Implementation to lead strategic and operational execution across regulatory, technology, vendor, and operational workstreams. You will shape portfolio priorities, manage a high-performing team, and ensure readiness, governance, and post-launch stabilization.

You will drive enterprise strategy translation, executive reporting, and risk mitigation while partnering with executives to align initiatives with business goals and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of progressively responsible experience in implementation, program management, healthcare operations, regulatory implementation, technology delivery, vendor integration, or related discipline.
• 4–5 years of people leadership experience, including direct leadership of managers, senior professionals, or complex matrixed teams.
• Experience translating executive strategy and governance requirements into measurable portfolio execution.
• Healthcare, managed care, or healthcare technology experience; Medicare Advantage or a comparable regulated environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Shape enterprise priorities into integrated portfolio plans with milestones and dependencies.
• Own execution for scope, schedule, budget adherence, regulatory readiness, and operations transition.
• Directly lead named managers and set goals, priorities, and development plans.
• Integrate regulatory, technology, vendor, and operational activities into coordinated plans.
• Establish governance standards, stage gates, change control, and readiness reviews.
• Hold accountable for readiness, evidence consolidation, and go-live recommendations.
• Coordinate regulatory and technology/vendor implementation with cross-functional teams.
• Develop readiness plans addressing workflows, staffing, training, communications, and controls.
• Provide accurate, decision-ready reporting to VP and senior stakeholders.
• Develop budgets, capacity plans, and resource allocation within approved parameters.
• Advance continuous improvement through tools, processes, and lessons learned.
• Engage stakeholders across Operations, IT, Regulatory Affairs, Compliance, Product, Finance, and Legal.
