Job summary

Quality Technology Services, LLC (QTS) is seeking a Senior Development Project Manager (Retrofit Data Center Construction) to lead design, preconstruction and construction activities on multi-site data center projects. You will collaborate with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, Commissioning Agents, Vendors, and Operations staff to ensure timely delivery and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Five or more years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint for executive updates, and Excel for budgets.
• Be able to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects on campuses, maintaining budgets, schedules and status reports.
• Create and communicate monthly updates for executive reviews and decision making.
• Work with stakeholders to develop base-build programs and capital budgets for sites.
• Manage entitlement and permitting needs for each site.
• Implement multi-phased site development plans and update campus master plans.
• Write scopes of work for design, construction and commissioning services; participate in procurement and cost estimates.
