Job summary

Quality Technology Services, LLC (QTS) is seeking a Senior Development Project Manager for Retrofit Data Center Construction in Ashburn, VA. Lead design, preconstruction, and construction activities, coordinating Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, Vendors, and Operations staff to drive successful project delivery.

You will oversee budgets, schedules, permits, and procurement, while collaborating with Sales, Product teams, and stakeholders to align with client goals and campus master

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Five or more years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for executive-level program updates; Excel for budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects on campuses; maintain budgets, schedules, and status reports.
• Create and communicate updates on development program and project status for executive reviews.
• Collaborate with design, construction, procurement and stakeholders to create base-build program and campus design solutions.
• Manage entitlement and permitting needs for each site project.
• Develop multi-phased site development plans to meet time, budget, and quality targets and update campus master plans.
• Write scopes of work for design, construction, commissioning services and participate in procurement and cost estimates.
• Evaluate pricing proposals for design, construction, and commissioning services.
• Coordinate equipment procurement and delivery processes with procurement teams.
• Ensure submittals are coordinated with site stakeholders; monitor budgets and schedule; establish on-time completion.
• Review and approve monthly pay applications; review change orders and negotiate pricing.
• Establish site security procedures; develop product deployment plans with internal teams.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineers and Product teams for tailored solutions within budgets and schedules.
