Job summary

QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Senior Development Project Manager to lead design, preconstruction and construction for data center campuses. You will interact daily with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers and Operations to deliver complex programs on time and within budget.

The role requires managing budgets, schedules and procurement while collaborating with Sales, Product teams and leadership to drive strategic outcomes across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Five or more years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures.
• Experience with Lump Sum, Construction Management at Risk, and Design Build delivery methods.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Excel for updates and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple campus projects with updated budgets, schedules and status reports.
• Create executive-level monthly status updates on development programs and project status.
• Develop master development programs, site designs and capital budgets with stakeholders.
• Manage entitlement and permitting needs for assigned sites.
• Coordinate with design, procurement and construction teams to meet time, budget and quality targets.
