Job summary

QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Senior Development Project Manager (Data Center Construction) to lead design, preconstruction, and construction activities on multiple campus sites. You will coordinate with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, and Operations to ensure successful project delivery.

The role requires at least five years in commercial construction delivery methods, strong communication, and the ability to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Five+ years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures, including management of Lump Sum, Construction Management @ Risk, and Design Build project delivery methods.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint for executive updates, and Excel for budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects on campus(es) with updated budgets, schedules, and status reports.
• Create and communicate monthly updates on development program and project status for executive reviews.
• Present information to support efficient decision making.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create a master development program and capital budget.
• Manage entitlement and permitting needs for each site project(s).
• Develop and implement multi‑phased site development plans to meet time, budget, and quality targets.
