Job summary

QTS Realty Trust in Ashburn, VA is seeking a Senior Development Project Manager (Retrofit Data Center Construction) to lead design, preconstruction and construction activities on assigned projects, coordinating with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers and Operations staff. You will manage budgets, schedules, change orders, and develop base-build programs and campus master plans.

You will work with procurement and Sales Engineers to tailor solutions for clients while ensuring on-time

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Five+ years of experience in commercial construction practices and various project delivery methods.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint for executive updates and Excel for budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, preconstruction and construction activities on projects.
• Manage budgets, schedules and monthly status reports for multiple campuses.
• Prepare base-build program, campus master plans and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers and Operations staff.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience

MBA (Preferred)
