Job summary

QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Development Project Manager (Data Center Construction) to lead design, preconstruction and construction activities for campus projects. You will collaborate with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, and Operations staff to ensure timely and on-budget delivery.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in commercial construction with multi-method delivery and a track record of coordinating complex site development, budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Five or more years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures, including management of Lump Sum, Construction Management @ Risk, and Design Build project delivery methods from conceptual development through procurement to close out.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint for executive updates, and Excel for budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple campus projects with budgets, schedules, and status reports.
• Create monthly development program updates for executive reviews.
• Effectively present information to support efficient decision making.
• Work with stakeholders to create a master development program and capital budget for sites.
• Manage entitlement and permitting needs for assigned sites.
