The Sr Consultant Specialized Claims handles the most complex national claims, providing strategic oversight, expert consultation, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The role emphasizes leadership in litigation strategy, policy development, and advanced risk assessment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of management liability or complex claims experience.
• JD and/or industry designations preferred.
• Strong negotiation and claims resolution ability.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage the most complex, high-severity claims with significant financial exposure.
• Collaborate with legal counsel and internal stakeholders to resolve high-profile cases and shape claims strategy.
• Direct counsel; develop litigation strategies including discovery, trial, and resolution planning.
• Represent the company at trials, mediations, settlements and arbitrations.
• Lead quality control and process improvements for complex claims handling.
• Coordinate with underwriting, product, legal, and external partners to ensure thorough claim evaluation.
