Job summary

Cyera, a leading data security platform, seeks a Customer Success Engineer to optimize customers’ utilization and return on investment in Cyera. You will act as the primary technical expert, guiding adoption and crafting tailored use cases for global enterprises.

This senior, remote position involves 25–50% travel annually to engage with clients, deliver training, and drive successful outcomes across diverse industries.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar experience a plus
• 12 years experience in Strong project management skills, enabling you to effectively plan, organize, and execute multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a strong attention to detail
• A self-starter who thrives in an ambiguous, fast-paced startup environment
• A results-oriented mindset with a track record of driving revenue growth, customer satisfaction, feature adoption, and retention
• Proficiency in SQL, scripting languages (Python or similar), and cloud environments
• 3+ years hands-on experience with data and cloud technologies (databases, IAM, networking)
• Experience with APIs and web services
• Experience in DLP, data privacy/protection, DSPM/CSPM, SIEM, or vulnerability management
• Experience in software company in a technical customer-facing role
• Demonstrated owner of customer relationships (onboarding, renewal, expansion)
• Strong communication skills for exec and workshop leadership

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical expert on the Cyera Platform
• Be a trusted advisor to customers at all levels
• Drive customer adoption through onboarding and training
• Understand customer needs and design customized use cases
• Maximize ROI through sustained adoption and expansion
• Identify and resolve blockers with peers
• Advocate for customer feedback and influence roadmap
• Utilize self-paced training resources for customer education
• Troubleshoot technical issues impacting customers
• Monitor customer health and usage metrics
• Collaborate with customers on joint success plans
• Share best practices internally and externally
• Mentor team members and assist in their development
• Participate in interview processes to hire talent
• Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with customers
