Job summary

Cyera is seeking a Customer Success Engineer to optimize customer utilization and ROI in a data security-focused platform. Expect 25-50% travel to engage with global clients and advance their success journeys.

You will be the technical expert, advisor to executives and practitioners, and drive adoption through onboarding, training, and tailored use cases. This role emphasizes proactive value realization and expansion opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience; CS degree is a plus.
• 12 years of experience with strong project management and detail-orientation.
• Self-starter in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth, adoption, and retention.
• Experience collaborating with Development teams.
• Proficiency in SQL, scripting languages (Python), and cloud environments.
• 3+ years with data and cloud technologies (databases, IAM, networking).
• Experience with APIs and web services.
• DLP/DSPM/CSPM, SIEM, or vulnerability management experience preferred.
• Software-company, technical customer-facing role experience.
• Owning customer relationships including onboarding, renewal, expansion.
• Strong communication and ability to lead executive workshops.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical expert on the Cyera Platform.
• Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to customers at all levels.
• Drive customer adoption through onboarding and training.
• Design and deliver customized use cases aligned with customer goals.
• Ensure customers realize full value and maximize ROI.
• Lead ongoing engagement and expansion; drive customer loyalty.
• Identify and resolve obstacles; collaborate with peers.
• Advocate for customer feedback influencing Cyera roadmaps.
• Utilize self-paced training resources for customer education.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues impacting customers.
• Monitor health and usage metrics; report insights.
• Collaborate on joint success plans; document best practices.
• Mentor teammates and participate in hiring; conduct quarterly reviews.
